Under the slogan, “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves,” the Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders organized a celebratory event on the occasion of the honorable Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid) for the year 1448 AH. The event took place in a spiritual and faith-filled atmosphere that reflected the greatness of the occasion and its profound place in the hearts of Muslims.
The event featured various religious and chanting segments, alongside speeches that highlighted the fragrant biography of the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The addresses emphasized the values of mercy, solidarity, and benevolence embedded in his message, and the importance of embodying these principles in practical humanitarian work and patient care.
The Society emphasized that commemorating this occasion represents a valuable opportunity to draw inspiration from the prophetic values of mercy, giving, compassion, and solidarity. It also serves to strengthen the spirit of love and cooperation among community members, thereby supporting patients and championing their humanitarian causes.
During the gathering, attendees earnestly prayed to Allah Almighty to bless all patients with health and wellness, to alleviate their pain, to grant them a full recovery, and to relieve them of all hardship and distress.
At the conclusion of the event, the Society’s management expressed its gratitude and appreciation by honoring a number of prominent participants who contributed to the success of the occasion. This recognition was in appreciation of their outstanding dedication, remarkable interaction, and the valuable efforts they made to ensure the event was presented in a manner befitting this great religious occasion.
The Society also extends its sincere thanks to everyone who participated in this event, praying to Allah to place their contributions in the balance of their good deeds, and to return this blessed occasion to all with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.
