On Tuesday, Muharram 8, 1448 AH, corresponding to June 23, 2026, the Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders (YSTH) welcomed several representatives from e-wallet providers, banks, and telecommunication companies, including:
- Mr. Tariq Mansour Al-Ward – Financial Officer at Sabafon and Saba Cash Wallet.
- Mr. Khaled Haidar – Marketing Projects Officer at Sabafon.
- Mr. Hani Abduljalil Al-Qerwani – Marketing Unit Head at CAC Bank.
- Ms. Amal Yahya Al-Khazandar – Head of Media Marketing Department at CAC Bank.
- Mr. Najeeb Abdullah Al-Farran – Marketing Unit Officer at CAC Bank.
- Mr. Ali Muhammad Jarou’ – Deputy Director of Shamil Money Wallet.
- Mr. Hisham Ismail Al-Dali – Marketing Relations and Activities Officer at YOU Telecom.
- Mr. Sidqi Muhammad Sultan – Marketing Officer at Y Telecom.
- Ms. Shaima Anas Al-Sormi – Marketing Officer at Y Telecom.
This humanitarian visit to the Society’s therapeutic center aimed to assess the patients’ conditions, review the services provided to them, and strengthen joint cooperation in supporting this humanitarian and health cause.
The visit included a field tour across the center’s various departments. The delegation listened to a detailed briefing on the therapeutic and care services offered by the Society, as well as the ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of patients and meet their health and humanitarian needs.
Furthermore, the visitors learned about the prominent challenges facing Thalassemia and genetic blood disorder patients, alongside the growing needs of therapeutic centers under the current circumstances. They emphasized the vital importance of collective community efforts to support this segment of society and ease their burdens.
On its part, the management of the Society expressed deep appreciation for this visit, noting that it reflects a profound sense of corporate social responsibility and highlights the private sector’s dedication to supporting humanitarian work.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Society’s management honored the representatives of the participating entities with certificates of appreciation and gratitude, recognizing their supportive stances and community contributions toward enhancing prevention efforts against these chronic genetic diseases.
The Society’s management reaffirmed that supporting Thalassemia and genetic blood disorder patients is a shared responsibility that demands the concerted efforts of everyone to build a more collaborative and compassionate society.
