The Medical Laboratory Department (Third Level) at the University of Science and Technology, Female Branch, organized this morning, Sunday, an awareness event highlighting the risks of Thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic anemia, their modes of transmission to children, and prevention methods. The campaign also featured a charity bazaar to support patient projects.
During the event, attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Abdullah Al-Makhlafi, the General Director of the Association, Mr. Jamil Ali Al-Khyati, delivered a speech expressing his gratitude to the university’s leadership and administration and those responsible for the awareness program for their significant efforts in sponsoring and supporting such important campaigns.
