The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders held an awareness campaign yesterday in several halls of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Science and Technology.
In the same context, the Society participated today, Tuesday, in the Sixth Community Festival supporting patients with cancer, kidney failure, thalassemia, and autism.
Additionally, the university, in coordination and cooperation with the Society and the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center, organized a voluntary blood donation campaign to benefit patients with thalassemia, hereditary hemolytic anemias, and other patients dependent on blood transfusions.
