Queen Arwa University, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, conducted an awareness campaign about thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic anemia, their risks, and preventive measures, alongside a voluntary blood donation campaign for the benefit of patients. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of early screening and medical consultation before marriage, as well as to ensure the availability of safe blood to sustain the lives of patients with hemolytic blood disorders and others dependent on blood transfusions and its derivatives.
