Yemen Mobile Concludes the Year with Support for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorder Patients
Yemen Mobile, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders, provided a quantity of iron-chelating drugs and medical supplies to a number of patients suffering from thalassemia and hereditary blood diseases.
This contribution helped save the health of dozens of patients who were facing severe complications and acute relapses due to the unavailability of iron-chelating medication and other essential drugs.
However, hundreds of patients are still awaiting assistance to prevent their health from deteriorating by ensuring access to these vital medications and medical supplies.
The Society has repeatedly issued humanitarian appeals to local and international organizations to supply these medicines and save patients from worsening conditions.
It is noteworthy that Yemen Mobile has previously conducted several relief and medical aid campaigns for patients with thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders.
