With generous support from the esteemed General Authority of Zakat, the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders (YSTH) launched the Eid Al-Adha Clothing Distribution Project on Sunday, 7 Dhul-Hijjah 1444 AH, corresponding to June 25, 2023. The project aims to distribute Eid clothing to 3,546 children suffering from thalassemia and genetic blood disorders and will continue for three days.
The inauguration was attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ayani, Deputy of the Authority’s Expenditures Sector; Dr. Hassan Tama, Head of the Health Committee; Mr. Mohammed Al-Moshki, Director of Awareness and Media; Mr. Mohammed Al-Suraihi, Project Officer; a number of concerned officials; and Mr. Nasser Al-Kahali, General Director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in the Capital Secretariat.
Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati, Director General of the Society, along with the team and volunteers, expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Authority for their support of the patients and their remarkable efforts on this special day, which brought joy to all.
