On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders (15th of April), a humanitarian voluntary blood donation campaign was held today, Tuesday, 17th of Shawaal,1446 AH corresponding to15th of April,2025 AD, in cooperation with the National Center for Blood Transfusion and Research. This campaign is part of ongoing efforts to support patients with Thalassemia and Hereditary blood disorders who rely on regular blood transfusions to survive.
The campaign witnessed a remarkable turnout of donors, reflecting the growing community awareness of the importance of this humanitarian work.
The association’s management confirmed that these campaigns contribute to saving the lives of many patients.
