The Health Awareness and Education Department of the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders, in cooperation with Al-Nasser University administration, organized an awareness event in Sana’a to highlight the risks of thalassemia and hereditary blood diseases.
This event is part of the Society’s continuous efforts and relentless endeavors to combat genetic blood disorders and promote methods of prevention.
During the event, which included various artistic and educational activities, the Society’s Executive Director, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khyati, along with the Administrative Follow-up Officer, Mr. Saleh Al-Usaimi, honored the university’s leadership for their ongoing cooperation and persistent efforts in supporting the cause of thalassemia and hereditary blood diseases.
Notably, the event featured a charity bazaar, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting patients suffering from thalassemia and genetic blood disorders.
