The Al-Jazeera Model Schools, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, held today, Sunday, 10 Rajab 1445 AH, corresponding to January 21, 2024, an awareness event for third-year secondary students about the risks of thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic anemia, their symptoms, complications, and preventive measures, emphasizing the importance of early screening and medical consultation before marriage.
The lecture included the presentation of educational flash videos, distribution of awareness brochures, outstanding student participation, and a clear understanding of the seriousness of chronic hereditary blood diseases.
