During the event, Mr. Abdullah Al-Jad’i, Head of Public Relations and Media at the Society, met with Dr. Tawfiq Al-Obaidi, Dean of the Faculty, to discuss mechanisms of cooperation between the college and the Society. They agreed on forming a team of “Ambassadors of Humanity” to support the Society in advocating for the cause of children suffering from thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders and to develop an awareness program for university students.
The Society shoulders the heavy responsibility of delivering awareness messages to all segments of society, especially those preparing for marriage. Mr. Al-Jad’i delivered an awareness lecture to the team, highlighting the vital role youth play in society and the importance of their role in disseminating awareness messages. He emphasized that anyone can prevent potential risks to their children by undergoing premarital medical screening.
The participants expressed their readiness and commitment to adopt and support this cause.
