The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, in cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center and New Horizon Institute, organized a voluntary blood donation and awareness campaign in support of patients with thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders.
The campaign, which was attended by dozens of students, featured educational sessions introducing the disease, its causes, methods of prevention, and the importance of early premarital medical screening.
Ms. Rabab Tawfiq, the campaign coordinator from the Society, emphasized the importance of organizing such initiatives. She expressed her appreciation for the positive response from the students of the institute, many of whom participated actively.
