As part of their academic activities, a group of fourth-year students from the Department of Clinical Nutrition at the University of Science and Technology visited the Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders Treatment Center. During the visit, the students delivered an educational lecture to a number of patients and their families on the importance and benefits of proper and healthy nutrition, under the theme: “Nutrition and Thalassemia Patients.”
The students concluded their activity by distributing healthy food meals to the patients.
