Azal University for Human Development — represented by fourth-year IT students and Laboratory Department students — organized, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Association for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, an awareness campaign to educate the public on the dangers of chronic hereditary blood diseases, their complications, and preventive measures.
The campaign was followed by a voluntary blood donation drive in support of patients with thalassemia, hereditary blood disorders, and others dependent on regular blood transfusions. This initiative was carried out in coordination with the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center and included a charity bazaar benefiting the patients.
