On Tuesday and Wednesday, 23–24 Rajab 1444 AH / corresponding to February 13–14, 2023, the University of Modern Sciences, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Association for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, organized an awareness campaign aimed at educating participants about the dangers of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders, methods of prevention, and the importance and benefits of voluntary blood donation.
The awareness program concluded with a voluntary blood donation campaign held in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center, in support of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorder patients, as well as others dependent on blood transfusions.
