On Thursday, 25 Rajab 1444 AH / corresponding to February 16, 2023, Dar Al-Salam International University for Science and Technology, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Association for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, organized an awareness campaign focusing on the dangers of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders, their complications, methods of transmission, and preventive measures.
The awareness activities were accompanied by a voluntary blood donation campaign to support patients with thalassemia, hereditary blood disorders, and other individuals dependent on blood transfusions. The campaign was held in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center.
