On Wednesday, 2 Sha’ban 1444 AH / corresponding to February 22, 2023, the National University, in coordination and collaboration with the Yemeni Association for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, organized an awareness campaign to highlight the risks of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders and promote methods of prevention.
During the campaign, Mr. Ali Abdul-Wali, a member of the Association’s Administrative Board, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of collective efforts in caring for patients and raising public awareness about the necessity of early screening and medical consultation before marriage.
