The German College of Medical and Technical Sciences, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Diseases, held on Sunday and Monday, October 8-9, 2023, an awareness campaign about the risks of thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic diseases and ways to prevent them. This was followed by a voluntary blood donation campaign in support of patients with thalassemia, hereditary blood disorders, and other patients reliant on blood transfusions, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center.
