Al-Amal Bank, in collaboration with the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders (YSTH), organized an awareness campaign today, Thursday, 25 Rabi’ al-Thani 1445 AH (corresponding to November 9, 2023), for the bank’s employees.
The campaign aimed to educate participants about thalassemia and other hereditary blood disorders, their complications and risks, and methods of prevention through early screening and premarital medical consultation.
It also highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation, supporting affected individuals, and promoting public health awareness to ensure the well-being of future generations.
