In coordination with the Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders Care Center, the youth-led initiative “Seed of Giving” distributed school supplies to dozens of students suffering from thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders.
During the distribution, the Executive Director of the Society, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati, emphasized that the number of patients in need far exceeds those reached by the initiative, highlighting the growing demand for such support. He praised the initiative’s role in alleviating the burden on the families of affected children.
While the provision of school supplies is considered a secondary project by the Society, it has become increasingly vital due to the heavy financial burden school requirements place on the parents of patients.
