The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders has launched an online campaign under the slogan “Thalassemia patients lack even the joy of health during Eid.”
The campaign, titled #TogetherWeMakeTheirEid, aims to bring joy and uplift the emotional and psychological well-being of patients, most of whom are children between the ages of 3 and 10 registered with the Society.
Through this initiative, the Society calls upon merchants, philanthropists, and businesspeople across Yemen to participate in bringing joy to these patients by contributing Eid clothes, sweets, toys, and sacrificial animals to help them celebrate Eid with dignity and happiness.
