Today, Sunday, March 10, 2019, Mr. Jameel Al-Khayati, Director of the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders, accompanied by several Society staff members, welcomed Major General Hassan Ahmed Al-Haij, Governor of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, during a humanitarian visit to the Society’s main center in Sana’a. The visit aimed to review the workflow at the center and to check on the conditions of the patients.
Governor Al-Haij praised the significant role played by the management teams of both the Society and its care center in looking after the patients despite the difficult circumstances the country is experiencing. He acknowledged that the Society continues its humanitarian work by providing care and support for the patients.
In turn, Mr. Jameel Al-Khayati expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Governor Al-Haij for his kind humanitarian gesture towards this afflicted group through his visit and inspection of the center’s operations, commending his compassionate role and conscientious concern for the patients with thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders.
