The Association and Sustainable Development Foundation Sign Memorandum of Understanding
On Thursday, October 31, 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between the Sustainable Development Foundation – Community Center for IDPs in Sana’a (First Party), represented by Mr. Mohammed Abduljabbar Al-Moallimi and on his behalf Ms. Hanaa Sinan, and the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders (Second Party), represented by the General Director, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khiaty.
According to the agreement, the Association will provide free medical services—including consultations, diagnostic tests, and medications—to internally displaced persons (IDPs) suffering from hereditary blood disorders, within the limits of its available resources. In return, the Association will submit the names of eligible IDP patients to the Sustainable Development Foundation to enable them to benefit from the foundation’s support services.
This MoU came into effect on October 31, 2019, as part of the Association’s commitment to alleviating the suffering of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorder patients and their families.
