The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders implemented the Eid Sacrifice Distribution Project for the year 1439 AH / 2018 AD, benefiting hundreds of patient families in the Capital City.
The project was carried out with support and funding from the Kuwaiti Women’s Humanitarian Giving Team and supervised by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Association, as part of Kuwait’s “By Your Side” campaign launched to aid the Yemeni people due to the deteriorating conditions in recent years.
The project benefited 183 families of thalassemia and hereditary blood disorder patients, with an estimated total of around 915 beneficiaries.
The Eid Sacrifice Project is one of the seasonal initiatives implemented by the Society to alleviate the financial burdens and living requirements of the patients’ families.
