The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders held last Thursday, August 19, 2021, a training program on the Fundamentals and Concepts of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001). The program was attended by several board members and staff of the Society, under the slogan “For Development and the Pursuit of Excellence,” and was delivered by trainer Mr. Kamal Abdulqader.
At the beginning of the course, the Director General of the Society, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati, warmly welcomed the staff, emphasizing that such courses and activities are among the Society’s top priorities, as they contribute to improving work quality and advancing the level of humanitarian services provided. He called on everyone to unite in achieving the desired goals.
It is noteworthy that the Society aims to obtain the ISO 9001 certification in the coming months by committing to performing its noble humanitarian mission at the highest standard.
