On Sunday, the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders organized a special recreational event at Magical City Entertainment Center for a number of patients suffering from thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders. The event was held in observance of World Sickle Cell Day, marked annually on June 19, and was attended by the Society’s President, members of the administrative board, as well as a number of media professionals and artists. The event was generously sponsored by the Social Affairs Office in the Capital Secretariat.
The celebration featured heartfelt speeches, recognition of supporting individuals and organizations, face painting, photo sessions, and a variety of fun activities that brought joy and happiness to the patients.
