The Yemeni Association for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders honored the leadership of Emirates International University today, Monday, 4 Jumada al-Awwal 1444 AH / 28 November 2022, in recognition of their continuous cooperation and outstanding efforts in organizing and executing awareness campaigns on the risks of thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic anemia and methods of prevention, as well as voluntary blood donation campaigns during October of the current year.
In turn, the University’s Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, honored the Association with a shield and a certificate of appreciation.
Representing the Association at the ceremony were Dr. Mukhtar Ismail and Mr. Ali Abdul-Wali Thabet, members of the Association’s administrative board, along with media officials.
