Al-Saeeda University, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Diseases (YSTH) and the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center, conducted blood donation campaigns from December 10 to 13, 2023, benefiting patients with thalassemia, hereditary hemolytic anemias, and other patients dependent on blood transfusion, alongside an awareness campaign for university students.
The Society honored Al-Saeeda University for their humanitarian efforts in collaborating to raise awareness among students about the importance of early screening, medical consultation before marriage, and participation in voluntary blood donation.
