The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders (YSTH) received today, Thursday, 1 Jumada al-Akhirah 1445 AH / 14 December 2023, third-year high school female students from Atiaf Yemen Schools in an awareness visit. During the visit, the students were introduced to the sections of the treatment center and the services provided to patients.
The students attended an awareness lecture accompanied by a presentation of visual materials highlighting the risks of thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic anemias, their symptoms, complications, and methods of prevention, primarily through early screening and medical consultation before marriage.
