On Sunday, Rajab 12, 1446 AH, corresponding to January 12, 2025, the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders welcomed fourth-year nursing students from Al-Razi University during an educational visit. The students were introduced to the departments of the Society’s treatment center and the humanitarian services it provides to patients.
The visit included an informative lecture and awareness videos on thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders, highlighting their risks, complications, genetic transmission, and methods of prevention through early testing and premarital medical counseling. The session also emphasized the importance of participating in blood donation campaigns and supporting the provision of medications and medical supplies to help patients lead stable lives.
