The University of Science and Technology, in coordination and cooperation with the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders, held an awareness event on Sunday, 19 Rajab 1446 AH, corresponding to January 19, 2025. The event focused on raising awareness about thalassemia and other genetic blood disorders and highlighting their dangers, as part of the university’s contribution to community service.
The university also called on the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to reduce the prevalence of these diseases.
The Society’s management extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the University of Science and Technology for their ongoing efforts, various initiatives, and valuable contribution to this humanitarian cause.
