The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders received students from the Laboratories and Pharmacy Departments, Level 3, of Al-Sadara College of Medical Sciences and Technology on Sunday, 10 Sha’ban 1446 AH, corresponding to 9 February 2025. During their visit, they familiarized themselves with the departments of the treatment center, the humanitarian efforts made to alleviate the patients’ suffering, and the importance of providing essential medications, supplies, and medical solutions.
They also attended a lecture and watched awareness materials about the risks of these diseases, their complications, and the preventive measures, including early screening and medical counseling before marriage.
