The Yemen Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders (YSTH), in collaboration with Palestine Modern College for Medical and Technical Sciences and the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center, conducted a humanitarian voluntary blood donation campaign today, Wednesday, February 4, 2026 (16 Sha’ban 1447 AH).
This campaign serves as a practical step toward providing a “lifeline” for patients with Thalassemia and genetic hemolysis who require continuous blood transfusions. It also aims to solidify the values of social responsibility and health awareness among the college’s staff and students.
The campaign was marked by exceptional engagement, as students from various medical departments, alongside academic and administrative staff, turned out to participate in this humanitarian duty, expressing their full solidarity with the patients.
For its part, the YSTH expressed its deep appreciation to the administration of Palestine Modern College and the National Blood Transfusion Center for this successful collaboration. The Society reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such awareness campaigns that contribute directly to saving lives.
