A Humanitarian Gesture
Recognizing the importance of this national issue, Mr. Sadiq Yahya Al-Qadmi, member of the Local Council of Maeen Directorate, visited the Center for the Care of Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorder Patients on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
During his visit, he was introduced to the various departments of the center and the services provided to patients. He witnessed firsthand the extent of suffering endured by individuals affected by these chronic diseases and expressed deep regret over the hardships caused by the interruption of essential medications.
Mr. Al-Qadmi praised the efforts of the Society and the Center, expressing his sincere thanks and appreciation for their noble work in delivering such vital humanitarian services and their dedication to supporting this afflicted group.
The visitors were warmly received by the Society’s General Director and the Director of the Care Center, both of whom conveyed their gratitude and appreciation for Mr. Al-Qadmi’s compassionate and generous initiative. They emphasized the importance of addressing such community issues, which require support and cooperation from various social figures and institutions.
