The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Diseases, in coordination and cooperation with Al-Alamiya Modern Schools – Al-Baraem Branch, conducted an awareness campaign last Thursday, October 19, 2023, for the female teaching staff at Al-Alamiya Schools. The campaign focused on thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic diseases, their modes of transmission, prevention methods, and the importance of early screening and medical consultation before marriage, aiming to strengthen the teacher’s role in conveying health messages to students.
