Enhancing preventive efforts and continuing the fight against thalassemia and hereditary blood disorders, the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders received today, Monday, 26 Jumada al-Thani 1445 AH, corresponding to January 8, 2024, third-year high school female students from Al-Tamayoz Schools. The students were introduced to the therapeutic center’s departments affiliated with the Society and the services it provides to patients. This was followed by an awareness lecture about hereditary blood diseases, their risks, complications, and preventive measures, along with the presentation of visual materials and the distribution of educational brochures.
