The management of the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders received Dr. Abdulaziz Najmuddin, President of the Yanabee’ Al-Ribat Foundation for Development and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Medicine Bank, on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The visit aimed to familiarize Dr. Najmuddin with the Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorder Care Center, its departments, and the charitable services provided to patients.
During the visit, the two parties exchanged views on the various challenges facing the center.
Dr. Abdulaziz also met with several outstanding and talented patients, whom the Society proudly regards as exemplary members of the community. These patients bravely endure the hardships of their illnesses but do not allow their conditions to hinder their academic and professional achievements. They see themselves as equal to their healthy peers. Dr. Abdulaziz emphasized the Society’s unwavering support for patients through all circumstances.
