In response to the appeals launched by the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders to support patients in urgent need, the Public Telecommunications Corporation in Sana’a generously donated a significant quantity of medications and intravenous solutions to the Thalassemia and Hereditary Blood Disorders Care Center. The donation, made in late December 2020, included:
- 490 packs of folic acid
- 2,420 IV solution bags benefiting approximately 245 patients
- 950 strips of Hydroxyurea for around 160 patients for a two-month period
The total value of this contribution amounted to YER 1,997,600.
