A group of students from Modern Education Schools visited the Thalassemia and Hereditary Hemolytic Anemia Care Center today, Thursday, March 18, 2021, accompanied by the school’s social specialist, Ms. Maha Sanad. They were warmly welcomed by the Center’s Director, Dr. Mukhtar Ismail, and the Blood Transfusion Services Officer, Ms. Rabab Tawfiq, who introduced them to the center’s departments and the services provided to patients.
The General Manager of the Association, Mr. Jameel Ali Al-Khayati, expressed his satisfaction with the eagerness of the younger generation to learn about thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic anemia. He emphasized that this awareness enables them to undergo early premarital medical screening and to raise awareness within their communities.
During their visit, the students brought joy and happiness to the patients present at the center by distributing gifts, face painting, and taking commemorative photos.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Association’s Branch Officer, Mr. Ali Abdulwali, honored the administration of Modern Education Schools in recognition of their humanitarian efforts in successfully supporting the psychological care program for patients with thalassemia and hereditary hemolytic anemia, and their contribution to raising awareness about the dangers of these chronic diseases.
