Al-Nasser University, in coordination and cooperation with The Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Disorders Association and the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center, organized today, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, a voluntary blood donation campaign in support of patients with thalassemia, hereditary hemolytic anemia, and others. The campaign was accompanied by an awareness event to highlight the risks of these chronic hereditary diseases and the importance of prevention through early testing and premarital medical counseling.
Students and faculty members of the university participated in this humanitarian initiative, affirming the values of solidarity and social responsibility.
For his part, the Director General of the Association expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the leadership of Al-Nasser University and its students for their humanitarian efforts in organizing this dual event that combined awareness with direct practical support for patients.
